Fragment of a "log" kept by Emma Glenz, Madison, Wis. artist and teacher, during her stay in Munich, Germany in 1932. Three leaves contain photographs, text, and a ticket relating to a speech given by Adolph Hitler on July 3, "the first day the Nazi Party was allowed to wear its uniform and hold a public meeting." The photos depict the parade to the tent where Hitler spoke, and Glenz's text descibes the event and how she came to be in attendance. There is also a portrait of Glenz's mother and her sister.
